This nostalgic photograph, captured in 1989, shows Mitsubishi Galant Σ 2000GSR Turbo (A164a).

I also owned a Mitsubishi Galant Σ 2000GSR Turbo (A164a). While I initially wanted a "Lantabo" (Lancer Turbo), I ended up choosing this one because it was a more niche and unique choice. It was my daily driver for a while. Since I couldn't get my hands on an LSD, I used Yokohama Type-D tires. Driving downhill in Hakone felt like I was navigating through a muddy rice field—it was quite a challenge! With only an aftermarket muffler and no boost increase, the torque feeling on the uphill climbs in Hakone was comparable to that of an AE86. Eventually, I gave the car to my father in Kyushu. Unfortunately, a few months later, he crashed into a wall, and the car was totaled. Thankfully, my father was unharmed.
